I’m Luis Mendoza, a local business owner based in Watsonville and the founder of Spotlight Community Outreach.

As the owner of The Waste Wranglers, I understand how challenging it can be to promote a small business while balancing everyday responsibilities and a marketing budget. That experience inspired me to bring local businesses together through shared postcard advertising.

With Spotlight, my goal is to make direct mail marketing more accessible to businesses in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. By sharing space on one postcard, participating businesses share printing and postage costs while each having their own advertisement.

I personally coordinate the process—from ad design and approval to printing, mailing-route selection, and USPS drop-off. You work directly with me to prepare your advertisement and understand the campaign details.

I believe our communities benefit when people discover the businesses close to home. Spotlight is my way of helping make those connections.
